Little Browns Creek Trail is a lightly used trail that provides solitude for anyone willing to fight the rugged terrain. It provides access to Mt. Antero, one of Colorado's 14'ers, and trout fishing, in Little Browns Creek.

Pike and San Isabel National Forests
Pine Creek Trail provides access to Collegiate Peaks Wilderness, Colorado Trail (1776), South Pine Creek Trail (1458), Frenchman Creek Trail (1457) and Missouri Gulch Trail (1469).
Pomeroy Lakes Trail Salida Ranger District,
Pike and San Isabel National Forests
Pomeroy Lakes lie in an alpine basin that is accessible by 4 WD. The trail to the lakes extends 2 miles round trip. Fishing is good in both lakes for cutthroat and rainbow trout.
Rainbow Trail #1336 Segment: Bear Creek to US Hwy. 285 (Mears Junction) Salida Ranger District,
Pike and San Isabel National Forests
This segment of the trail leads 12.3 miles north from Bear Creek to Mears Junction. The trail is open to foot, horse and motorcycle traffic.
Rainbow Trail #1336 Segment: Big Cottonwood Creek to Stout Creek Salida Ranger District,
Pike and San Isabel National Forests
This segment of the Rainbow Trail extends 13.5 miles from Big Cottonwood Creek to Stout Creek south of Salida. It offers excellent views of the Arkansas River Valley and the Sangre de Christo Mountains.
Rainbow Trail #1336 Segment: North Brush Creek to Big Cottonwood Creek Salida Ranger District,
Pike and San Isabel National Forests
This segment of the Rainbow Trail leads 12 miles north from North Brush Creek to Big Cottonwood Creek. This part of the Rainbow Trail may be used by hikers, horseback riders, mountain bikers and motorcycle riders.
Rainbow Trail #1336 Segment: Stout Creek to Bear Creek Salida Ranger District,
Pike and San Isabel National Forests
This segment of the Rainbow Trail extends 12.2 miles north from Stout Creek to Bear Creek. Most of this segment follows the eastern border of the Sangre de Christo Wilderness.
South Fork Clear Creek Four-Wheel Drive Road Leadville Ranger District,
Pike and San Isabel National Forests
The South Fork of Clear Creek Road begins at Winfield and ends at the road closure just south of the Banker Mine. The road is extremely rough and recommended for high clearance vehicles only.
Stout Creek Trail Salida Ranger District,
Pike and San Isabel National Forests
Stout Creek Lakes are accessible from the Rainbow Trail. The trail leads west into the Sangre de Cristo Wilderness Area. No mechanized or motorized vehicles are permitted on this trail.
Wagon Loop Trail Salida Ranger District,
Pike and San Isabel National Forests
This loop provides a relatively easy day hike or ride. The total mileage is approximately 3.5 miles to complete the loop. Fishing is good in Browns Creek and Little Browns Creek.
