Paradise Divide Road connects Slate River Road with Gothic Road. It travels through scenic Paradise Basin.
Poverty Gulch Four-Wheel Drive Road Taylor River Ranger District,

Poverty Gulch Road is an abandoned mining road that leads northwest from Slate River Road to the Augusta Mine.

This road follows Sun Creek to Sun Park then continues a few more miles to the West Elk Wilderness boundary.

Taylor Pass Road climbs from Taylor Park to Taylor Pass (11,928 feet). Access to the pass may be obtained from Ashcroft or Taylor Park.
