Block and Tackle Trail is located east of Crested Butte. It leads from East Brush Creek Road, 738.2B, to Cement Creek Road, 740.
Brush Creek Road #738 Taylor River Ranger District,

This road is a popular route for off-road vehicles, including mountain bikes, between Aspen and Crested Butte. The road is extremely technical when it nears Pearl Pass.

This trail is open to hiker, horse travel and mountain bike use. The trail is most heavily used during the hunting season.

Poverty Gulch Road is an abandoned mining road that leads northwest from Slate River Road to the Augusta Mine.

Soap Creek Road leads north from Highway 92 and Curecanti National Recreation Area. It provides access to Soap Creek and the West Elk Wilderness.

Taylor Pass Road climbs from Taylor Park to Taylor Pass (11,928 feet). Access to the pass may be obtained from Ashcroft or Taylor Park.
Texas Creek Road #755 Taylor River Ranger District,

Texas Creek Road provides access to the western boundary of the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness Area. This part of the wilderness is not heavily used and a good place to seek solitude.

This trail follows the timberline directly beneath the Sawatch Range. Following the boundary of the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness, the trail offers great views of Taylor Park.
