Gramp's Trail, #657, leads 2.7 miles southwest from Rampart Range Road to Trail 675. The trailhead for this intermediate connector lies 5.75 miles south of Highway 67 on Rampart Range Road.

The High Lonesome Trail is located northeast of Fraser. It leads from the Monarch Lake area to Devils Thumb Pass. It can be accessed at various points.

The High Lonesome Trail ll is located east of Winter Park. It leads from the south end of the High Lonesome Trail at Devil's Thumb Park to Rollins Pass.

The Long Hollow Trail, #649, leads 5.5 miles south from Noodle Trail, #677. The route has an intermediate rating and receives little use. It may be made into a loop ride in connection with Trout Creek Trail, #649.

Maxwell Falls Trail is located southwest of Evergreen. It is a nice enjoyable hike and is one of the first trails to open in the spring.
Meridian Trail South Platte Ranger District,

The Meridian Trail is a pleasant hike that leads to a saddle that separates the Pike and Arapaho National Forests. Hiking distance to the saddle is 3 miles and the elevation gain is 1,630'.
Mitchell Lake Trail Boulder Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Mitchell trail ends at Blue Lake in the fragile forest/tundra transition zone. The trail is very crowded on summer weekends.
Mt. Audubon Trail Boulder Ranger District,

This trail forks off of the Beaver Creek Trail and ends at Mt. Audubon (13,233). It is very crowded.

This trail sees hundreds of people a day on weekends. The area between the lake and Pawnee Pass has been interlaced with illegal trails cut by overanxious hikers looking for shortcuts.

The Payne Creek Trail, located in the northeast section of the Lost Creek Wilderness, travels 9.5 miles to meet the Colorado Trail. The trail is open to horseback riders and hikers.
Power Line Motorized Trail South Platte Ranger District,

Power Line Trail, #690, follows power lines that run parallel to Rampart Range Road. The trail leads north-south for 7.7 miles from Highway 67 to Cabin Ridge Picnic Ground.
Rainbow Lakes Trail Boulder Ranger District,

Rainbow Lakes offers developed camping facilities for family and group use. The eastern end of the Arapaho Glacier Trail begins here.
Resthouse Meadows Trail Clear Creek Ranger District,

This trail south of Idaho Springs begins at the Echo Lake Campground and leads to Resthouse Meadows, in the Mount Evans Wilderness.

The Russell Gulch Trail, #693, leads north 6.5 miles from Sprucewood. It passes over Bear Mountain and through Russell Gulch to County Road 97 and the Platte River.
Scotty's Motorized Trail South Platte Ranger District,

Scotty's Trail, #681, leads 6.8 miles south from Forest Road 507 to Devils Head Road. This trail serves as a connecting route from northern trails in the system to southern trails in the system.
Shelf Lake Trail South Platte Ranger District,

The Shelf Lake Trail follows the Smelter Gulch drainage to Shelf Lake in a high mountain cirque. The 3.2 mile hike is on an established trail the entire distance.

This trail begins south of Georgetown, near Guanella Pass. It offers a scenic hike to two small alpine lakes.

The Tanglewood Trail is a moderately difficult trail in the Mt. Evans Wilderness. It leads to some spectacular views of rock formations, wildflowers and forest areas.
Three Mile Creek Trail South Platte Ranger District,

This popular hiking trail provides access into the heart of the southern half of the Mt. Evans Wilderness Area. The trailhead is along Geneva Creek Road and its terminus is the junction with the Rosalie Trail.
Tomahawk Motorized Trail South Platte Ranger District,

Tomahawk Trail is located on the northern end of the Rampart Range Motorized Trail System. It leads 3.2 miles north from Forest Road 507 to Trail #686.
Trout Creek Motorized Trail South Platte Ranger District,

Trout Creek Trail, #649, leads in a 6.2 mile westward loop from Rampart Range Road. The trail passes through Trout Creek, which provides excellent fishing opportunities, but may be impassable in spring.

This trail travels to the Continental Divide where it continues as the Rogers Pass Trail.

This trail begins west of the Bakersville I-70 exit and just east of the Loveland Ski Area. It begins in the trees then travels above timberline, offering great views of the surrounding peaks.
Wigwam Trail South Platte Ranger District,

The Wigwam Trail provides a less-crowded alternative to the Goose Creek Trailhead. The trail accesses the east side of the Lost Creek Wilderness Area.

Fairplay Area
Wilderness On Wheels Foundation provides access for disabled persons to the natural outdoor environment. The facility includes campsites, cabins, and a 8-foot wide boardwalk that is just over a mile long.
Woodland Lake Trail Boulder Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
This trail originates out of the Hessie Townsite and follows the Devils Lake Trail for about 2.5 miles until you reach Woodland Lake Trail.
