This trail begins near Pingree Park, west of Fort Collins. It leads past Comanche Reservoir and eventually connects with the Flowers Trail or the Brown's Lake Trail.
Big South Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Big South Trail begins at Highway 14, and leads to Peterson Lake and Long Draw Reservoir.
Blue Lake Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,

This trail near Cameron Pass, west of Fort Collins, leads to Blue Lake.
Bluebird Lake Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This is a long hike to a scenic lake. It begins at the Wild Basin Trailhead and leads past Copeland Falls, Calypso Cascades, Ouzel Falls and Ouzel Lake on the way to Bluebird Lake.

Browns Lake Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
Brown's Lake Trail is located west of Fort Collins. It leads from the Crown Point Road to Brown's and Timberline Lakes, then on to the Beaver Creek Trail.
Calypso Cascades Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This is a short, easy hike on the southeast side of the park. It leads from the Wild Basin Trailhead past Copeland Falls reaching the roaring Calypso Cascades.
Chasm Falls Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This is a winter route up the lower end of Old Fall River Road, open for hiking while the road is closed during the winter months.
Crosier Mountain (borrow Pit-1) Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
There are three access points to this series of trails located northeast of Estes Park. They all can be followed to the Crosier Mountain Summit at 9,250 feet.
Cub Lake Trail Rocky Mountain National Park A park favorite, this hike to a mountain pond travels through woods that blaze with color in the fall. It is often accessible for hiking year-round.
Deer Mountain Trail Rocky Mountain National Park Fine views, pleasant hiking and a picnic on top make this trip a hiking favorite on the east side of the park.
East Inlet Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This trail begins near Grand Lake and leads past Adams Falls, Lone Pine Lake, Lake Verna and Spirit Lake.
Emmaline Lake Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Emmaline Lake and Mummy Pass Trails begin near Pingree Park, west of Fort Collins. The Mummy Pass Trail branches off and leads into Rocky Mountain National Park.
Fern Lake Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This trail begins at the end of Moraine Park Road and leads to The Pool, at the confluences of Spruce and Fern Creeks with the Big Thompson River. It is a good winter hike.
Fern Lake Trail (Winter) Rocky Mountain National Park This trail begins at the end of Moraine Park Road and leads past The Pool, then on to Fern Falls, Fern Lake and Odessa Lake.
Flattop Mountain Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This trail begins at the Bear Lake Trailhead. Panoramic views and access to many other great peaks lure hikers up this mountain in the middle of the park.
Flowers Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Flowers Trail #939 runs from the west end of the Flowers four-wheel drive road and leads south west, through the Comanche Peak Wilderness, to Peterson Lake.
Gem Lake Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This trail leads from Twin Owls Trailhead north of Estes Park, to Gem Lake, cradled high among the rounded granite domes of Lumpy Ridge. It is a good year-round hike.
Glacier Gorge Trail (to Alberta Falls) Rocky Mountain National Park This trail leads past Alberta Falls, Glacier Falls, Mills Lake and Ribbon Falls before ending at Black Lake. The beautiful view from Mills Lake is one of the park's finest.
Greyrock Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The trail climbs from the Poudre Canyon to the base of Greyrock. Great views are offered from the top of Greyrock. The Greyrock Loop branches from this trail.
Hewlett Gulch Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
This trail is located west of Fort Collins. It follows a dry creek north from the Poudre Canyon.
Lady Moon Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
Lady Moon Lake is located southeast of Redfeather Lakes. A number of game trails and logging roads lead to a scenic view of the lake, which sits on private property.
Lily Mountain Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
Lily Mountain Trail is located south of Estes Park, just off Highway 7. The summit provides panoramic views.
Link Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
This trail begins west of Fort Collins, near the Browns Park Campground. It leads into the Rawah Wilderness.
Lion Gulch Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Lion Gulch Trail is located southeast of Estes Park. It follows Lion Gulch into the Homestead Meadows area.
McIntyre Creek Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
This trail is located west of Fort Collins and leads from Brown's Park Campground, up McIntyre Creek, into the Rawah Wilderness.
Medicine Bow Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
This trail is located west of Fort Collins in the Rawah Wilderness. It follows Medicine Bow Divide from Ute Pass south to the Link Trail.
Mineral Springs Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
This trail west of Fort Collins follows Mineral Springs Gulch from Rustic to the Crown Point Road.
Mirror Lake Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Mirror Lake Trail is located west of Fort Collins and leads from the Flowers Trail, #939, to Mirror Lake. Portions of this trail lead through Rocky Mountain National Park.
Mount Richtofen Trail Rocky Mountain National Park Mt. Richtofen is accessed from the Colorado River Trailhead. This difficult trail leads to one of the prominent summits in the Never Summer Mountains.
Mt. Margaret Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,

This trail is located in the Redfeather Lakes area. It leads to the base of Mount Margaret.
Mt. Mcconnell Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The trailhead for these trails is located at the Mountain Park Campground in the Poudre Canyon, west of Fort Collins. The Mt McConnel Trail begins at the high point of the Kreutzer Trail.
Neota Creek Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Neota Trail is located near Long Draw Reservoir, south of Cameron Pass. It leads into the Neota Wilderness.
North Fork Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
This trail north of Estes Park follows the North Fork of the Big Thompson River into Rocky Mountain National Park. It links to the Stormy Peaks Trail.
North Inlet Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This trail begins near the north side of Grand Lake and leads past Cascade Falls then continues up North Inlet to either Lake Nanita or the Continental Divide.
North Lone Pine Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,

This trail is located west of Redfeather Lakes. It is a good day hike.

This trail leads from the Laramie River Valley, past the Rawah Lakes and over Grassy Pass. It links to several other trails in the Rawah Wilderness.
Roaring Creek Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,

The Roaring Creek Trail leads up Roaring Creek from the Poudre Canyon. The trailhead is located near the Big Bend Trailhead.

Round Mountain Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,

This trail west of Loveland leads to the summit of Sheep Mountain. It is a designated National Recreation Trail.
Signal Mountain - Donner Pass Loop Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
This trail loop system is located near the northeast corner of Rocky Mountain National Park. It has three access points.
Stormy Peaks Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The North Fork and Stormy Peaks Trails lead from Pingree Park, across the northeast corner of Rocky Mountain National Park, to the North Fork of the Big Thompson River.
Sundance Mountain Trail Rocky Mountain National Park The high altitude walk to this summit begins on Trail Ridge Road between Forest Canyon Overlook and Rock Cut. It leads out to Sundance Mountain.
Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
This trail is located southwest of Redfeather Lakes. It is open to motorized and nonmotorized travel.
Timber Lake Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This trail on the west side of the park begins off Highway 34 in the Kawuneeche Valley. It is a strenuous 4.8 mile hike up to Timber Lake.
Timberline Falls Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This trail begins at Glacier Gorge Junction. Scenic Loch Vale is enjoyed while on your way to the beautiful Timberline Falls. The trail continues to Lake of Glass and Sky Pond.
Trap Park Trail Canyon Lakes Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Trap Park Trail is located west of Fort Collins in the Long Draw area. It leads from Long Draw to Trap Park.
Twin Sister Peaks Trail Rocky Mountain National Park These two peaks sit off by themselves to the east of the park, offering outstanding vistas sweeping in all directions.
Upper Beaver Meadows Trail Rocky Mountain National Park Upper Beaver Meadows is located on the east side of the park. A trail leads parallel to the Beaver Meadows Road, to the south of Beaver Creek for about two miles.

This trail is located west of Fort Collins, along the West Branch of the Laramie River. It leads into the Rawah Wilderness where it intersects several other trails.
