The Brookside-McCurdy Trail leads through the length of the Lost Creek Wilderness. It intersects with 5 different trails providing the opportunity for several loop hikes.
Colorado Trail (Kenosha Pass to Georgia Pass) South Park Ranger District,
Pike and San Isabel National Forests
This segment of the Colorado Trail leads 11 miles from Kenosha Pass to Georgia Pass. It is accessible to horseback riders, hikers and mountain bikers.
Colorado Trail (Long Gulch Trailhead to Kenosha Pass) South Park Ranger District,
Pike and San Isabel National Forests
This segment of the Colorado Trail leads users 14 miles from Long Gulch Trailhead to Kenosha Pass. The first few miles are within the Lost Creek Wilderness boundary and closed to mechanized and motorized travel.

The Jefferson Lake Trail circles Jefferson Lake and provides access for anglers. The state of Colorado stocks Jefferson Lake with rainbow trout. The lake is surrounded by 12,000' and 13,000' mountains.

This is a high country route, offering several outstanding views. The trail leads from Hankins Pass through Lake Park to the Brookside McCurdy Trail.
Limber Grove Trail South Park Ranger District,

The Limber Grove Trail leads from Horseshoe Campground to Fourmile Campground in the area southwest of Fairplay. The trail leads through a forest of ancient Limber Pines.
Lizard Rock Trail South Park Ranger District,

The Lizard Rock Trail leads into the Lost Creek Wilderness from its western boundary. The trail is an easy to moderate 2.5 mile climb from the Spruce Grove Campground.
Overlook Trail South Park Ranger District,

The Overlook Trail leads from the Spillway Campground .5 miles to an observation point, that provides vistas from the rim of Elevenmile Canyon. The trail offers great opportunities to view the surrounding country
Platte River Trail South Park Ranger District,

The Platte River Trail is an easy day hike for campers at the Happy Meadows Campground. Hiking, biking, horseback riding and fishing opportunities may be accessed from this site.
Rich Creek Trail South Park Ranger District,

The Rich Creek Trail travels mostly within the Buffalo Peaks Wilderness. The terrain is moderately difficult to traverse with the opportunity to summit the 13,000' Buffalo Peaks.
Rough and Tumbling Creek Trail South Park Ranger District,

Rough and Tumbling Creek Trail makes a good backpacking trail in the Buffalo Peaks Wilderness. The trail is 11.3 miles long from the Rich Creek Trailhead to the Fourmile Trailhead.

The Salt Creek Trail provides users with a wilderness experience with opportunities to view unique flora and fauna. The trail traverses 15 miles on the eastern perimeter of the Buffalo Peaks Wilderness.

Ute Creek Trail leads 3 miles up the Ute Creek drainage to Bison Pass in the Lost Creek Wilderness. This trail intersects with the Brookside McCurdy Trail on Bison Pass.
West Jefferson Trail South Park Ranger District,

West Jefferson Trail begins in the Jefferson Lake area and climbs to Georgia Pass, 11,585'. Users can make a loop hike by following the Colorado Trail back to the campgrounds.
Wilderness on Wheels Accessible Recreation Area Wilderness on Wheels,
Fairplay Area
Wilderness On Wheels Foundation provides access for disabled persons to the natural outdoor environment. The facility includes campsites, cabins, and a 8-foot wide boardwalk that is just over a mile long.
