The Arapaho Pass Trail, #6, is located east of Granby. It leads from Monarch Lake, up Arapaho Creek and over Arapaho Pass.
Baker Gulch Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Baker Gulch Trail is located north of Granby. It begins in Rocky Mountain National Park at the Bowen Baker Trailhead and leads up Baker Gulch to Baker Pass.
Baker Pass Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Baker Pass Trail, #29, is located north of Granby in the Never Summer Wilderness. It is accessed by the Baker Gulch Trail beginning in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Bear Lake Trail Rocky Mountain National Park An excellent interpretive nature trail circles this popular subalpine lake at the end of Bear Lake Road.
Bluebird Lake Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This is a long hike to a scenic lake. It begins at the Wild Basin Trailhead and leads past Copeland Falls, Calypso Cascades, Ouzel Falls and Ouzel Lake on the way to Bluebird Lake.
Boardwalk Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Boardwalk Trail is a wheelchair accessible boardwalk which leads from the Sugarloaf Campground through pine forest, wetlands and beaver ponds along the Williams Fork River.
Bowen Gulch Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Bowen Gulch Trail is located north of Granby. It begins at the Bowen Baker Trailhead in Rocky Mountain National Park and branches to either Blue Lake, Bowen Lake, or Bowen Pass.
Buchanan Pass Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Buchanan Pass Trail, #2, is located east of Granby and Monarch Lake. It leads from Cascade Creek to Buchanan Pass.
Byers Peak Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Byers Peak Trail is located southwest of Fraser. It leads to the top of Byers Peak.
Calypso Cascades Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This is a short, easy hike on the southeast side of the park. It leads from the Wild Basin Trailhead past Copeland Falls reaching the roaring Calypso Cascades.
Caribou Pass Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Caribou Pass Trail #11, is located northeast of Fraser. It leads from the Junco Lake Trailhead, near Meadow Creek Reservoir, to Caribou Pass.
Cascade Creek Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Cascade Creek Trail, #1, is located east of Granby and Monarch Lake. It is one of the most heavily used trails in the Indian Peaks Wilderness.
Chasm Falls Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This is a winter route up the lower end of Old Fall River Road, open for hiking while the road is closed during the winter months.
Columbine Lake Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Columbine Lake Trail #11, is located northeast of Fraser. It begins at the Junco Lake Trailhead, near Meadow Creek Reservoir, and leads to Columbine Lake.
Cub Lake Trail Rocky Mountain National Park A park favorite, this hike to a mountain pond travels through woods that blaze with color in the fall. It is often accessible for hiking year-round.
Darling Creek Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Darling Creek Trail is located south of Granby in the Williams Fork area. It leads from the Williams Fork River near the Sugarloaf Campground to the St. Louis Peak-Jones Pass Trail.
Deer Mountain Trail Rocky Mountain National Park Fine views, pleasant hiking and a picnic on top make this trip a hiking favorite on the east side of the park.
East Inlet Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This trail begins near Grand Lake and leads past Adams Falls, Lone Pine Lake, Lake Verna and Spirit Lake.
Fern Lake Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This trail begins at the end of Moraine Park Road and leads to The Pool, at the confluences of Spruce and Fern Creeks with the Big Thompson River. It is a good winter hike.
Fern Lake Trail (Winter) Rocky Mountain National Park This trail begins at the end of Moraine Park Road and leads past The Pool, then on to Fern Falls, Fern Lake and Odessa Lake.
Flattop Mountain Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This trail begins at the Bear Lake Trailhead. Panoramic views and access to many other great peaks lure hikers up this mountain in the middle of the park.
Gem Lake Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This trail leads from Twin Owls Trailhead north of Estes Park, to Gem Lake, cradled high among the rounded granite domes of Lumpy Ridge. It is a good year-round hike.
Gilsonite Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Gilsonite Trail is located north of Granby. It leads from Forest Road 123, north to the Wolverine Trail.
Glacier Gorge Trail (to Alberta Falls) Rocky Mountain National Park This trail leads past Alberta Falls, Glacier Falls, Mills Lake and Ribbon Falls before ending at Black Lake. The beautiful view from Mills Lake is one of the park's finest.
High Lonesome Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The High Lonesome Trail is located northeast of Fraser. It leads from the Monarch Lake area to Devils Thumb Pass. It can be accessed at various points.
High Lonesome Trail II Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The High Lonesome Trail ll is located east of Winter Park. It leads from the south end of the High Lonesome Trail at Devil's Thumb Park to Rollins Pass.
Horseshoe Lake Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Horseshoe Lake Trail is located south of Granby in the Williams Fork area. It leads from the Kinney Creek Trail, #22, to Horseshoe Lake.
James Peak Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The James Peak Trail is located southeast of Winter Park. It leads from Roger's Pass to the top of James Peak.
Jim Creek Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
Jim Creek is a relatively short trail located just southeast of Winter Park.
Keyser Ridge Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Keyser Ridge Trail, #14, is located south of Granby in the Williams Fork area. It leads from Forest Road 140, along Keyser Ridge, linking with the Kinney Creek, Lake Evelyn, and St. Louis Divide trails.

The Kinney Creek Trail, #22, is located south of Granby, in the Williams Fork area. It leads up Kinney Creek to intersect the St. Louis Divide-Jones Pass Trail, #17.
Knight Ridge Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Knight Ridge Trail is located to the northeast of Granby. It leads from the Arapaho Bay Campground, along the northeast side of Lake Granby and Shadow Mountain Lake to Grand Lake Village.
Lake Evelyn Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Lake Evelyn Trail is located south of Granby in the Williams Fork area. It leads from Keyser Creek to Lake Evelyn.
Lost Lake Trail (Sulphur Ranger District) Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
This relatively short trail leading to Lost Lake, is located north of Granby, on the east side of the Bowen Gulch Protection Area.
Mount Richtofen Trail Rocky Mountain National Park Mt. Richtofen is accessed from the Colorado River Trailhead. This difficult trail leads to one of the prominent summits in the Never Summer Mountains.
North Inlet Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This trail begins near the north side of Grand Lake and leads past Cascade Falls then continues up North Inlet to either Lake Nanita or the Continental Divide.
North Supply Creek Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The North Supply Creek Trail is located north of Granby. It leads from Forest Road 120 to the Wolverine Trail.
Parika Lake Trail Sulphur Ranger District,

The Parika Lake Trail is located north of Granby. It starts from the Baker Gulch Trail, leads past Parika Lake then over the Continental Divide.
Ptarmigan Pass Trail Sulphur Ranger District,

The Ptarmigan Pass Trail, #35, is located south of Granby in the Williams Fork Valley. It connects the South Fork Trail, #21 to the Ute Peak Trail, #24.
Roaring Fork Trail Sulphur Ranger District,

The Roaring Fork Trail is located northeast of Granby, on the east side of Lake Granby. It leads up to either Watanga Lake or Stone Lake.

Roger's Pass Trail is a relatively short trail located southeast of Winter Park. It leads from the Rollin's Pass Road to Roger's Pass.
South Fork Trail (Sulphur Ranger District) Sulphur Ranger District,

This long loop trail is located in the Williams Fork Valley, south of Granby. It can be used to access several other area trails.
St. Louis Divide-Jones Pass Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The St. Louis Divide-Jones Pass Trail is located south of Granby in the Williams Fork general area. It leads from the Bottle Pass Trail, southeast to Jones Pass.
St. Louis Lake Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Saint Louis Lake Trail is located southwest of Winter Park and Fraser. It leads to scenic Saint Louis Lake.
Sundance Mountain Trail Rocky Mountain National Park The high altitude walk to this summit begins on Trail Ridge Road between Forest Canyon Overlook and Rock Cut. It leads out to Sundance Mountain.
Timber Lake Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This trail on the west side of the park begins off Highway 34 in the Kawuneeche Valley. It is a strenuous 4.8 mile hike up to Timber Lake.
Timberline Falls Trail Rocky Mountain National Park This trail begins at Glacier Gorge Junction. Scenic Loch Vale is enjoyed while on your way to the beautiful Timberline Falls. The trail continues to Lake of Glass and Sky Pond.
Twin Sister Peaks Trail Rocky Mountain National Park These two peaks sit off by themselves to the east of the park, offering outstanding vistas sweeping in all directions.
Upper Beaver Meadows Trail Rocky Mountain National Park Upper Beaver Meadows is located on the east side of the park. A trail leads parallel to the Beaver Meadows Road, to the south of Beaver Creek for about two miles.

The Ute Peak Trail, #24, is located southwest of Granby in the Williams Fork area. The trail leads from the Williams Fork River up along Williams Fork Ridge to Ptarmigan Pass.
Williams Peak Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Williams Peak Trail, #25, is located south of Granby in the Williams Fork Area. It begins near Horseshoe Campground and leads to Williams Peak.
Wolverine Trail Sulphur Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
The Wolverine Trail is located north of Granby. It leads from the Gilsonite Trail, north to about Bowen Lake. It can be accessed from several points.
