Activity Location Description
Teal Campground Pagosa Ranger District,
San Juan National Forest
Teal Campground is just a short walk from Williams Creek Reservoir which contains kokanee salmon and trout. The surrounding peaks offer great photo opportunities.
Ute Campground Pagosa Ranger District,
San Juan National Forest
The campground is on a gentle, south-facing slope just off the highway. Ponderosa pines provide shade, but the area gets warm on sunny summer days.
West Fork Campground Pagosa Ranger District,
San Juan National Forest
Although this is a very scenic campground, it is lightly used. You can fish in both Wolf Creek and the West Fork, but only skilled and patient fishermen may have much luck in these heavily fished streams.
Williams Creek Campground Pagosa Ranger District,
San Juan National Forest
This facility has 67 sites and a good selection of sunny and shady spots, with a few right along the creek. Fishing located nearby.
Wolf Creek Campground Pagosa Ranger District,
San Juan National Forest
Both areas are mostly level and densely forested, and accommodate long RVs, with some pull-throughs. Two ponds are located directly behind the campground but apparently do not have fish.
