Kobey Park Road Aspen Ranger District,
White River National Forest
Kobey Park is an old logging area with many spur roads winding through it. This is a fairly well maintained 4 WD road, used by mountain bikes, 4 WD's, dirt bikes, and snowmobiles in the winter.
Lani White Trail Aspen Trails,
Aspen Area
Lani White Trail is a moderately difficult, .2 mile trail that connects to the Hunter Creek Trail. This trail is unpaved.
Lenado Trail Aspen Ranger District,

Smuggler Road is used heavily by mountain bikes, runners and hikers. The section of trail through Hunter Creek is not as heavily used, but is popular with hikers and mountain bikers, and cross country skiers in the winter.
Lincoln Creek Road Aspen Ranger District,

There is access to many activities along the first six miles of the road. The section of road from Grizzly Reservoir to the ghost town of Ruby is much less traveled and suitable only for hiking, mountain biking and 4 WD.
Little Annie Road Aspen Ranger District,

This road is fairly well maintained, but used heavily by 4 WD's, especially on weekends. This is a very scenic ride with great views of the Castle Creek Valley.
Lowline Trail Town of Snowmass Village,

Lowline Trail is a beginner, dirt single track that is used for mountain biking and hiking. This trail is located in Snowmass, Colorado.
Midnight Mine Road Aspen Ranger District,

This is a fairly well maintained dirt road with several steep sections. It is not used by four-wheel drives as much as Little Annie or Summer Roads.
Montezuma Basin Road Aspen Ranger District,

There is often snow on the road well into July. This road is very rugged, and in some sections is located in a stream.
Pearl Pass Road Aspen Ranger District,

Despite the likelihood of snow on the road well into July, the Pearl Pass Road is heavily used especially on weekends. The road is very rocky and steep in sections and often impassable in a vehicle.
Red Table Mountain Trail Aspen Ranger District,

Taking this route from the top down is an enjoyable down hill cruise with some short uphill sections and some outstanding views of the area. This trail should not be ridden prior to June 21st to avoid disturbing calving elk.
Richmond Hill Road Aspen Ranger District,

Richmond Hill extends from the top of Aspen Mountain to the south, forming the eastern ridge of the Castle Creek Valley. From this vantage point users have a great view of many of the surrounding mountains in the Aspen area.

The Woody Creek to Basalt section of the Rio Grande Trail is an easy 10.6 miles. The Rio Grand Trail is over 40 miles long and runs from Aspen to Glenwood Springs.

This trail is fairly steep for the first half mile, then levels off to a gradual climb until it connects with Road #528.

Sky Mountain Park Loop Pitkin County Open Space Sky Mountain Park Loop is a single track mountain bike trail located near Aspen, Colorado.

Smuggler Road is used heavily by mountain bikes, runners, hikers and their dogs. Smuggler Road provides a short (1-1/2 mile) work out with great views of Aspen, which makes it very popular.

This is a short trail that connect from Aspen Airport Business Center to the Rio Grand Trail. This trail is suited for mountain biking and hiking.

The trail offers a challenging day hike or backpack trip and access into Hunter Creek, Lenado and Van Horn Park. There are beautiful aspen groves and good views of Aspen and the surrounding mountains.

This road climbs from the Taylor River Valley, over Taylor Pass, to the Castle Creek Valley, near Ashcroft. This road can be very rough at times, check at District Office before using.

Valhalla Mountain Bike Trial is an intermediate to advanced trial located on Snowmass Mountain and managed by the Aspen Ski Company.
Van Horn Park Trail Network Aspen Ranger District,

Van Horn Park Trail Network is a multi use trail located near Aspen , Colorado. The difficulty of this trail depends on the route you choose.
Vapor Trail Aspen Trails,

Vapor Trail is located on Snowmass Mountain and is part of the Snowmass Bike Park. This is a 2.6 mile, intermediate to advanced trail.
Verde Trail Aspen Trails,

Verde Trail is a 3.5 mile, beginner level mountain bike trail and is part of the Snowmass Bike Park.
Viewline Trial Town of Snowmass Village,

Viewline Trail is located near Snowmass Village, Colorado. This single track connects to the Skyline Ridge Trail in the heart of Sky Mountain Park.
Viking Trail Aspen Trails,
White River National Forest
The Viking Trail is a 2.7 mile, intermediate trail located on Snowmass Mountain. This trail is a part of the Snowmass Bike Park.
Warren Lakes Road Aspen Ranger District,
White River National Forest
The portion of the road to Warren Lakes is very steep and not used as heavily. From Smuggler Road you can also access Hunter Creek, Van Horn Park, and Lenado.
