The Baldy Trail is located near Pyramid, in the Flat Tops west of Yampa. It leads from Forest Highway 16, southeast past Baldy Mountain and Pyramid Peak to intersect with trail the Black Mountain Creek Trail #1117.

The Bear River Trail, located in the Flat Tops southwest of Yampa, leads from the Stillwater trailhead, up to the headwaters of the Bear River, into the White River National Forest.
Bears Ears Trail Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
The Bears Ears Trail #1144 is located north of Craig and Hayden. The trail makes a 44 mile loop around Black Mountain and Bears Ears, with numerous access points.

The Black Mountain Creek Trail is located in the Flat Tops west of Yampa. It leads from Sheriff Reservoir to the East Fork Trail #1119.

The Bunker Basin Trail, west of Yampa in the Dunckley Pass area, leads from Sheriff Reservoir to Haley Reservoir.
Cyclone Park Trail Yampa Ranger District,

The Cyclone Park Trail is located west of Yampa, in the Pyramid/Ripple Creek Pass area. It leads from Forest Highway 16, northwest toward Cyclone Park and the Beaver Creek drainage.

The East Fork Trail is located in the Flat Tops, west of Yampa. It leads from Stillwater Reservoir to Forest Highway 16 near Pyramid. This trail intersects several other trails along its route.

This area was affected by a large tree blowdown. Contact the Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District for current conditions. The Gilpin Lakes Trail, north of Steamboat Springs, leads from Slavonia, past Gilpin Lake to the saddle between Gilpin and Gold Creeks.
Gold Creek Lake Trail Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
This trail leads from the Slavonia Trailhead north of Steamboat Springs, up Gold Creek to Gold Creek Lake. The trail can then link to either the Wyoming Trail of Gilpin Lake Trail.
Lost Lakes Trail (Yampa Ranger District) Yampa Ranger District,

Lost Lakes Trail is located in the Flat Tops, west of Yampa. It is accessed from the East Fork Trail #1119, from either Stillwater Reservoir or the Pyramid Guard Station.
Luna Lake Trail Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
Luna Lake Trail is located north of Steamboat Springs in the Mount Zirkel Wilderness. The trail can be accessed from either the east or the west end.
Mandall Lakes Trail Yampa Ranger District,

The Mandall Lakes Trail, located in the Flat Tops southwest of Yampa, leads from Yampa Reservoir, north past several lakes, to Mandall Pass.
Mica Basin Trail Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District,

This area was affected by a large tree blowdown. Contact the Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District for current conditions. This trail leads from the Slavonia area, north of Steamboat Springs, up to Mica Basin and Mica Lake. The trailhead is reached from the Gilpin Lake Trail, #1161.
North Derby Trail Yampa Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
This trail in the Bear River area leads from Stillwater Reservoir over a pass to the North Fork Derby Creek.
North Fork, Elk River Trail Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
The North Fork of the Elk River trail is located north of Steamboat Springs. It forks into three different trails, one of which can be followed over the Continental Divide to the Encampment River on The Parks Ranger District.
North Lake Trail Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
This trail north of Steamboat Springs, in the Slavonia area, leads from Forest Road 443 up past North Lake. It eventually links to the Wyoming Trail #1101, on the Continental Divide.
Red Dirt Pass Trail Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
This trail north of Steamboat Springs, in the Mt Zirkel area, leads from the Gold Creek Lake Trail #1150, to Red Dirt Pass. A hiker can reach the top of Mt Zirkel from this trail.

The Red Dirt Trail, north of Steamboat Springs, leads from Elk River Road, northwest to the Swamp Park Trail #1100, on Mad Creek.
Routt Divide Trail Yampa Ranger District,

The Routt Divide Trail runs along the Park Range, south of Rabbit Ears Pass.
Sand Creek Trail Yampa Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
The Sand Creek Trail leads from the Bear River Valley, near Yamcolo Reservoir, to Sheriff Reservoir, south of Dunckley Pass.
Sawtooth Trail Yampa Ranger District,

The Sawtooth Trail is located in the Flat Tops, west of Yampa. It is accessed only by the Sand Creek Trail and leads to the headwaters of Trout Creek.
Service Creek Trail Yampa Ranger District,

The Service Creek Trail traverses the Sarvice Creek Wilderness from east to west.
Silver Creek Trail Yampa Ranger District,

The Silver Creek Trail traverses the south end of the Sarvice Creek Wilderness from east to west.
Swamp Park Trail Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District,

Swamp Park Trail leads from Mad Creek, several miles north of Steamboat Springs, north to the upper Elk River near Seedhouse Campground. It can be enjoyed for both summer and winter activities.

The Teepee Creek Trail is located in the Lynx Pass area, southeast of Yampa.
Three Island Lake Trail Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District,

This area was affected by a large tree blowdown. Contact the Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District for current conditions. This trail north of Steamboat Springs leads from Forest Road 443, near Seedhouse Campground, up past Three Island Lake, and eventually to the Wyoming Trail #1101, at the Continental Divide.
Transfer Trail Yampa Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
This trail is located in the Flat Tops near Pyramid, west of Yampa. It provides a short-cut access to the East Fork Trail #1119.
Ute Trail Yampa Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
The Ute Trail runs from the Bear River, southwest of Yampa, north to Heart Lake. It is open to ATV use in addition to foot and horseback travel.
West Fish Creek Trail Yampa Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
The West Fish Creek Trail is located north of Dunckley Pass, northwest of Yampa. Portions of this trail are open for ATV travel.
West Lost Lakes Trail Yampa Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
The West Lost Lakes Trail is located in the Flat Tops west of Yampa. It leads from the Lost Lakes Trail, west into the White River National Forest.
Wyoming Trail Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District,

This 50 mile trail generally follows the Continental Divide from roughly Rabbit Ears Pass, north into Wyoming. It can be traveled in sections, because it can be accessed from a number of different points.
