Alder Creek Trail Norwood Ranger District,
Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests
This trail contours terrain for a very easy hiking experience. It connects with the Dallas Trail on the Ouray district of the Uncompahgre National Forest.
Deep Creek Trail Norwood Ranger District,
Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests
The lower elevations and southern exposure along Deep Creek Trail allow for earlier use than most trails in the area. The trail is located mostly in aspen forest with a few scattered spruce and fir stands.
Elk Creek Trail Norwood Ranger District,
Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests
This trail serves as a connecting link between the Elk Creek Road and the Woods Lake Trail.
Hope Lake Trail Norwood Ranger District,
Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests
Hope Lake Trail leads south from Forest Road 627 through Poverty Gulch to Hope Lake. This is a very easy hiking trail making it popular for families.
Lizard Head Trail Norwood Ranger District,

This trail begins at the Lizard Head Trailhead at Lizard Head Pass on Highway 145. It leads north into the Lizard Head Wilderness providing expansive views of the San Juan Mountain Range.
